Brownie Crisp Chocolate Bark

Brownie crisp chocolate bark

Chocolate bark looks impressive, keeps well, and takes about 10 minutes to make. Breaking Brownie Crisps into it gives you pockets of crunch in every snap - far better than plain bark, and a great edible gift.

What You Need

  • 150g dark chocolate (70% or higher), roughly chopped
  • 1 pack Brownie Crisps (Chocolate Chip or Almond Chip)
  • Optional: flaky sea salt, crushed roasted almonds, dried cranberries

How to Make It

  1. Melt chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or microwave in 30-second bursts), stirring until smooth.
  2. Pour onto a baking tray lined with parchment and spread to about 5mm thick.
  3. Immediately press Brownie Crisps into the surface - whole pieces, broken chunks, or a mix of both.
  4. Scatter any additional toppings (sea salt works especially well).
  5. Refrigerate for 30-40 minutes until completely set.
  6. Break into irregular shards and store in an airtight container.

Gifting and Storage

Bark keeps in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks. Stack pieces in a small box with parchment between layers for a clean-label homemade gift. Almond Chip Brownie Crisps add an extra layer of nuttiness that works particularly well here.
